Isn't it funny how JD is so unbearably broken that it at 1 with its searchability is still a +3-4 when it's activated? Also with Eternity being a card the deck really has no struggle recycling it. Or they can just use Tower and put the thing back in the deck. Super rejuve is ban worthy. I say so after witnessing someone go +24 off three of them and realizing card destruction isn't banned yet.

I also lol if you think Verz gets hit. Once dragons and prophecy die, they won't get any more spotlight since they can't directly counter anything. (Sorry Hieratics and every synchro deck ever.)

Big Eye should be limited, stop being so salty. He shouldn't be at 3 though that's just stupid. Dracossack needs new errata so dragons can't use him.


Is BLS even scary anymore? Maybe when the format was combo oriented but not anymore. keep him at 1, he's a nice boost to lower decks. The new bls won't see play.

Mermails.. put dragoons to 1. Semi abyss-sphere. yolo. not hard to beat them.

and yeah I'd like to see WU Zenmaighty at 1. I mean you can't tell me the deck will be "lol zenmaighty for game." It's not that scary, get over it. Magician is at 1.

I agree with somepoints but the reason wind-ups are scary isnt the magician, the deck revolves around factory, rat, and rabbit if you play it right. Mermails dont need a hit and evilswarm dont need one because they be doing their think and not uber broken. Maybe a tiny hit here. I can understand your view on spellbooks as well.

The Banlist Can't Hit the Newer decks Because i think they cant ban them until 2 banlist After they come out Or maybe a e-ban

Without reading most of the discussion, here's my two cents. You may disagree with me, but does it look like I care? XD

EITHER Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack OR Number 11: Big Eye (whichever one that wasn't banned)
Spellbook of Judgment (The deck can still function rather well without the card; think about it as Spellbooks before LTGY. But since Konami does kinda want to make money, they won't ban it right off the top.)
Super Rejuvenation (kind of the same reason as SoJ as mentioned above)
Sangan (Maybe. It's not like Tour Guide is splashed into the meta nowadays.)
Atlantean Marksman (because Diva + Marksman is just so deadly. This forces the Mermail player to think a bit more about their plays.)
Evilswarm Ophion (this will cause a spike in the price of Xyz Reborn or even something like Safe Zone, which honestly will be rather worth it to Konami)

For any of you wanting DMoC to be Limited, think about it: if Konami hasn't done it in like, three years, what makes you think that they're going to do it now?

Semi-Limited:
Atlantean Dragoons (consistency issues, there's a reason why a 52-card Mermail deck won a YCS in Europe once)
Spellbook of Secrets (just to kill that consistency, although probably not going to happen because it's not really that damaging to the deck)
Spellbook Magician of Prophecy (by doing this Konami would start to make a bit more money off of High Priestess, and it would help the game by taking away a copy of the monster that lets them use Master and Fate)
Book of Moon (Jowgen is honestly really annoying, and if Tsukuyomi's going to get Unlimited I don't see why BoM can't be increased by a copy as well)
Solemn Warning (I can almost guarantee this, if this change doesn't happen Konami is being fucking retarted)

Unlimited:
Tsukuyomi (it's not seeing that much use at 2, so I think it should be fine if it goes to 3)
Pot of Duality (the format's too fast for Duality anyways, so this shouldn't really change things that much)
Advanced Ritual Art (again, same as Duality)

So what does all of this mean for the game? Well, Dragon Rulers will start to become more of a beatdown deck, Prophecy will become similar to what it was before Judgment was released, Evilswarms will rely heavily on Xyz Reborn, and Mermails may make a small comeback. Bujins (a new deck that's being released in Judgment of the Light) will become the new meta deck, but all in all, it looks like the format will slow down a little bit, meaning that Traps will start to make a resurgence.

I don't think spellbooks can work well with out judgment. If judgment limited then it would work but if its banned or only one of those can be put per deck, then prophecy is dead.

They do work. Most notably, Frazier Smith went 8-3 with the deck pre-LTGY at YCS Meadowlands.

Yes, but to be fair as I went to YCS Meadowlands there was not a lot of preperation for the deck. Not many people had sides at the time, so you can't just say that.

If judgment is removed from the prophecy deck then how are you going to add all the cards in your hand? Prophecy are supposed to be fast, it usually takes 2 turns to set up a good field and all that happens because of judgment because most spells like secrects, master, and magician add spellbook cards to your hand which is just made to put 3 counters on judgment so you can summon justice in the ep and then banish him to add high priestess. That's the basic starter combo I do (there might be better ones but i don't play Prophecy a lot, only once in a while) but yea... judgment is a pretty important card in prophecy ( I think)

No, if judgment goes to one I personally think it would be fair. Also, your not making the priestess play except in the rouge match up. Against dragon rulers you make the Kycoo play and against the mirror you make the Jowgen play and make sure you have a set wisdom.

Yes, but konami is a business. They are not gonna hit every card and completly change the game. They can make a fun tournament for it like in japan the shop tourney where you could have one banned card, but they arent gonna do that. Also, I recently found out that The prophecy world monster is being printed in Judgment of Light, so guess what, PROPHECYS WON'T GET HIT BAD! Its sad but its gonna happen.

Agreed. It has an insane effect, but Justice is arguably better than Tempest, so I'd doubt people would make the switch. Secondly, if you were to summon World through Spellbook of Judgment, I don't think most players would want to waste 9 cards just to clear the field. With stuff like Dracossack (if he doesn't get hit), opposing fates, Heavy Infantry, Bear, and whatnot, clearing the field honestly isn't that big of a deal when your opponent still has stuff in their hand.

Please note : These are what I and I alone think, this is not BAN LIST PREDICTIONS. I am not Konami nor do I know what they are going to do because they might just not do anything to Dragon Rulers at all just for money. But this is what I think SHOULD happen.

To Lessen down Dragon Rulers :

Semi-limit the big dragons : Blaster, Tidal, Redox, Tempest so they can still be used as attribute and dragon support like they were supposed to.

Limit the baby dragons : Reactan, Burner, Stream, Lightning

Ban Number 11 : Big Eye. Put Dracossack to 1 (so they can still be used in Mecha Phantom Beasts). Put Number 74 : Master of Blades to 1. Gaia (xyz) isn't really that much of a problem and can also be used in Hieratic Dragons so I don't think it should get hit but if it does, it should be semi-limited.

Limit Super Rejuvenation to 1.

To Lessen down Spellbooks/Prophecy :

Ban Spellbook of Judgment.

I know some Spellbook decks don't run or don't need High Priestess but I think that she's a lvl 7 and she can be SS'ed easily and then use her eff to just pop cards...I think High Priestess should be limited to 1 or banned.

Spellbook of the master limited or banned. It's just too broken getting it to duplicate any spellbook spell.

Spellbook of Secrets semi-limited. Star Hall Semi-limited or limited.

To lessen down Evilswarms :

Ban Ophion. Just TOO OP, breaks down most of the decks as most focus on Special Summoning lvl 5 or higher monsters.

Limit or Ban (Personally, I'm more towards banning it than limiting) Evilswarm Bahamut. It's a Number 11 : Big Eye for Evilswarms.

I really don't see anything else being hit for Evilswarms as without Bahamut and Ophion then they're just a rapid xyz deck.

Limit or Semi-limit Infestation Pandemic. Not worthy of a ban, and i'm more towards semi limiting than limiting because its like that spellbook card that protects their monsters. But I am maybe towards limiting because it can be easily searched through Ophion if Ophion doesn't get hit.


Conclusion : I think these will make the decks less OP but there will always still be those OP cards in the game and we can't do anything about it because Konami wants to make money. I really only talked about 3 decks for this banlist but that's because I don't think anything else should get hit but the more I discuss it, the more I might change my views. There's no doubt though that these will defiently make the decks less OP. So yeah, put your suggestions below and i'll get to reading them.

I said at the beginning of it that this is what I think SHOULD be hit to make it fair. I even said this is not banlist predicitions, this is what SHOULD be hit. If I had predicted, I wouldn't have had all these on the banlist cuz Konami just wants to make money and Dragon Rulers are too new for Konami to ban because they want to make some money off it first.
