Duel Academy would like to you to join our world of academies project which is very benificial for you Very Happy

Reasons

1) Duel Academy is the only academy that survives and it is completely another league than other small academies.

2) Dueling systems like DN and YGOPRO get most members there, so academies are left to deal on their own.

3) Furthermore communities such as DNF, do not allow academies to be promoted in any kind so anyone willing to learn more about ygo, they can't be referred to academies.

4) We know from our experience these past 5 years that every single academy except us got dead sooner or later. Reason is lack of knowledge how to lead a forum in the right direction, lack of quality staff members and lack of good ideas. Everyone wants to have their own academy but does not know how to keep it alive for decent amount of time with decent amount of members.

5) Duel Academy has decided to save the academies and be their support. How? the academy scene existed in large numbers before. It was all fun because of the competition between the sites. Before, one site did not try to take members from other site by force or hacking or anything in such way. They simply went and warred with duel monsters to measure their forces. That competing environment created such hype that the golden age of academies had begun. Even Duel Academy was competing at that time and was one of the best, it survived them all. Nowadays, academies are nothing more but a simple trial of someone to try to have his own site. It end's up dying quickly without having any goal. Many academies try to reach DA, their goal is to become like us. But, to get there, there are mountains to climb. Small academies with not so famous staff members, cannot survive time's as easily as DA did. They have no experience and DA staff, especially admins have a lot. Thus, we offer other academies to come to our site, and get support needed.

6) How would that work? simple you register your academy under our alliance, since we will be like forumotion is for all these free forums, a support site for them, besides all other things we do on a regular basis. When you do that, you get involved in wars with other registered academies (meaning you need to be active with your academy), then you can get our support. Support is here in many ways. One, your academy will be listed in our academy list, which means people will get to know about it easier. We got larger community so it is easier to get noticed then. Next, if you have at least 1 war done, you can request time to time some tips from us. To tell you our opinion, professional advice. You can maybe even attract some GFX artist here, to get maybe some tasks done by them or so. you can get skin support, theme support and some other things. Maybe you want to change something but you don't know how, maybe you want to name dorms but don't want to be classic etc. There are many things in which we can be a help. But, that is only for active academies and those requests are limited, after all it is your site, not ours, we just give tips, don't actually do work for you. Also, by engaging in wars and winning you get more and more famous, more people want to join you, many people will look at our academy ranking list. You want to be there as someone good.

7) Every academy wants to war. However, there is no site where you can war. Then argues happen, disputes happen, and wars get out of control in lack of good war managers. We got very experienced history in wars, we have run the site which dealt with wars called Dueling City or former KCTAU. We have perfectly established rules and war formats for every situation and everyone. We will not war, to be fair since our people will judge the war problems and stuff like that. We will be just giving you space where you can war and where your war records will be safe. We are a long lasting site, if it was some other site, you would risk of the site being dead soon. But DA is different. We are stable and our records will be seen by many people around. There is no good war that is not done by a site meant for wars. If it is done by just two academies without another site where you record things, then that war is forgotten, not officially listed anywhere. You can say you won, but your opponent can say you lied the same way.

8.) We will make war seasons. After a season ends, the winner will get their advertisement in our Home page (portal). Our portal is daily visited by 200+ people, registered and guests. You don't want to miss that chance to hang there at our portal to be seen by many. That advertisement will last until the next season ending where the new winner will get the spot, where you can defend the title of course. We will not compete, to be fair again, we got the toughest crew for wars, all long time veterans, playing everywhere, in real life, in DN, being staff here and there, they are practically war machines. They played so many dueling wars in past that it is very hard to knock them down right now. They always come to join us in wars. No newbie academy can mess with that and we don't want to mess with smaller academies since it would not be fair from our side. So, we will hold back from competition and make you space to succeed there.

9) We got the tools. If it's the events like wars or tournaments between academies, then we got the best GFX artists, best event organizers with long reputation, best code writers to make it all pro tech-wise (automated registration forms and similar things) etc.

10) With alliance, we build a competing field for academies. Thus, many people will create new academies and try their luck because this will cause such hype that people will want to compete. They now have a goal, why to create an academy, why to take that path. This means, also you that already have academies will have more rivals out there, which means the sooner you join, the more chance you have to be more famous. Now, not many try to make their academies, so you don't have many sites to war with, but if many people create em, you will already be experienced and have high chances to gather more wins and more popularity.

11) We don't depend on your choice, there are a lot of academies, if you don't want, there will always be academies that would love this kind of offer from us. Just think about it, if you deny you might regret to be out of our alliance later on. Imagine you want a war with an academy and they only want to accept if it will be done via DA system to be recorded there. Then what would you do, no one will want to war for nothing when they can be ranked within our system. We are giving you just an example with this, no hard feelings, all this project we plan to do is just to have a strong academy ground where academies will live again their golden age of competition. You know, there was a time when people talked in community similar to DA, they talked about academies and argued whose is better. Nowadays you can hardly see anyone talking about academies. We want to change the things and we can do it with your help of course.

Reasons Why It's Beneficial For Us

Since our existance we always were giving ourselves to YGO in order to make kids happy and to get more purpose for their online dueling. This would be something big for us, a big attempt to make academies known and recognized in a wider area than it is right now. You are part of YGO as well, so we want to give you better academy ground for having more fun. Most of academies want to get each other's members, but we want to show that it's not always about evil plans, there are also good people out there who accomplish very high goals, exactly by being good. this was a message send by duel academy, saying they wanted us to become affiliates... i have hosted this poll wanting to see ur answer....

the 2 major points are
1. we will get a lot of advantages like academy renovation and everything if we r under them but at the same time there is a major disadvantage... we will be UNDER a group controlled by them, which means can only war when it is the war season and do this and that when they want us to... ofocurse they probably meant it to be good... but by doing this we will probably be under their control... now i dnt want ur answer be thought emotionally... just post and vote what u think... logically. the poll will be hosted for 5 days

I don't like the idea of essentially merging all the academies into one that's governed by a single head. I think we're doing fine on our own.

they r not saying merging... they r saying affiliation which means allies... we will have our site... but it will be under their group of affiliates... its like hda and us, we r 2 separate academies and will help each other if needed to, but we r still different academies... the only thing is this affiliation will be governed by DA

I say yes, its Duel Academy, THE ONLY ACADEMY TO SURVIVE! This would be stupid to not do it and to top it off, THEY CAME TO US! We can't turn them down, that would be stupid. BTW you spelt affiliation wrong in the title, might wanna fix that.

Still means that we get more recognition and what are they gonna do, tell us that we arent allowed to recruit or we cant choose who we war with? I dont think they will do that as it isnt stated in the thing. The affiliation would be us getting tips to survive which in the end is WHAT WE WANT!

If we cant opt out.... I think we shouldnt do it.... We would be better off anyway.... Look how we are doing now... If we can bounce it if needed than I say why not.... But if we cant than I think it may be risky.....
